Randstad is hunting for top-tier HC Drivers operating Tippers and Tankers. No long-haul highway hypnosis here—you’ll be home every day (or night) to sleep in your own bed.

Pick Your Shift

We like to keep things flexible. Choose the rhythm that suits your lifestyle:

• The Early Bird (Day Shift): Kick off early, beat the worst of the traffic, and wrap up with your evening free.

• The Night Owl (Night Shift): Roll out on the night run—ideal for smooth traffic, clear roads, and no morning alarms.

The Daily Grind (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Tipper & Tanker Operations: Safely hauling and unloading bulk product and liquid materials.

• Precision Driving: Navigating tight job sites, depots, and loading bays with total control.

• Gearbox Mastery: Smoothly operating Road Ranger transmissions on diverse routes.

• Hook & Book: Coupling and uncoupling trailers safely and efficiently.

• Playing by the Rules: Keeping your logbooks pristine, monitoring load limits, and staying sharp on all NHVR regulations.

The "Must-Haves" Checklist

To get the keys, you’ll need:

• The Badge: A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver licence with an Unrestricted / Road Ranger condition (no automatic/synchro limits).

• The Gear: Proven experience operating non-synchro (Road Ranger) gearboxes.

• The Track Record: Minimum 1 year of HC driving experience, bonus points if you have experience operating tippers or tankers.

• Fresh Miles: Recent experience in a similar driving role within the last 5 months.

• The Moves: Total confidence in trailer coupling/uncoupling, site maneuvering, and precise reversing.

The Hoops (The Serious Stuff)

Before we hand over the keys, our safety compliance team needs to tick a few boxes. All successful applicants must pass:

• A Pre-Employment Medical (including a drug and alcohol screen).

• An In-Depth Driver In-Cab Assessment (testing gear selection, tipper/tanker controls, coupling, and reversing!).

• The Paperwork: A clean driving history report, a recent police check, and an updated resume.
